Yantern is a business consulting service, but its niche audience is Deaf business owners and those looking to start their businesses.

Under The Striped Phoenix, we helped develop their own brand identity, created their logotype, designed their website and designed for their virtual conferences.

Logo and Brand Identity

For the logo design, we went from using a lantern to a line graph to basic shapes before finally deciding on a rectangular logotype.

The brand identity is simple and reserved. We used a dark blue color background with silver or white for contrast.

Business cards are self-explanatory along with the professionalism of the brand identity.

Website Design - Home Page

The Yantern website's mission is to teach aspiring entrepreneurs with educational materials in the form of video libraries. The home page is designed to grab attention with a video background.

Website Design - Webinars Page

The Webinars page contains information the user can access, with some free videos of previous webinars the user can watch online. A membership is required to access the video library which contains more valuable material needed to launch their business.

Website Design - Consultation Page

The Schedule a Consultation page is for sign ups for virtual consulting. The "Schedule Now" button leads to a scheduling page where the user can select the day and time of the virtual meeting. Once a meeting day and time is selected and confirmed, it automatically sets a Zoom meeting link for both the consultant and client.

Promotional Materials

I have created different types of posters for every one of their virtual courses. Some posters that fall under a category share the same design layout while other posters have a category of their own with a different layout.

Online + Exterior Banners

Schedules and agendas are created for a virtual conference summit. The challenging part is the scheduling and how to organize the time and presenters within the constraints of the poster size. They'd be posted online, but also printed and posted outside. Students are often the attendees to the conference, so some of the posters would be posted on campus.

Overview

When developing a brand identity, simpler is sometimes better, because it needs to be corporate and professional. For a brand identity to be successful, it is important to not overwhelm the theme with one color especially if it's a dark color - some white and gray is added throughout for a good balance.
